3 Security Deposit for P2P Merchants
P2P Merchant status
Locked collateral
Users holding P2P Merchant status must keep a security deposit on their
balance at all times, in the amount set by the platform’s tariffs.
- The security deposit remains your property, but is temporarily unavailable for withdrawal.
- It serves as collateral for potential disputes, chargebacks and other obligations arising from P2P trades.
- You may withdraw any funds exceeding the security deposit, provided you have no open trades, disputes or outstanding debt.
- Once P2P Merchant status ends, the deposit is unlocked within the timeframe established by the platform.
